Confounded by SolidWorks surfacing tools? This is a good place to start. Unfortunately, this presentation does not have speaker notes, however a quick review of the slides will be helpful to anyone who is just starting out in surfacing. The slides and attached models give an overview of the basic tools, and give a few simple examples of when to apply the tools available. Watch the video below for the most help, as most of the content was discussed without being included in the slides.

      Thanks for the comment, it looks like all my links to videos from SolidWorks World are broken. I am working on it now, and I have fixed this page. I will try and troubleshoot the rest tonight.

    Hi,
    I recieved email from solidworks-community.com.
    The topics I was interested in are.
    Surfacing: How to tackle the basics of surfacing in SolidWorks 3D CAD
    CAD Resources and Tips: Master design to manufacturing, large and small.
    I tried to watch the videos on the following subjects but the videos don’t work.
    Surfacing, Where Do I Start.
    Surfacing.
    Plastic and Mold Design.

    Hope you can fix these!

      Sorry for the late reply. It looks like everything is working correctly now. It may have been an error due to SolidWorks World being in session. I checked, and all the videos are working today. Sometimes, if you have a slow connection, it can take a little while for the videos to initially load, so be patient. Let me know if you continue to have problems with the videos.
